Two hours from first lap to F1

In-sim view: a 2022 Formula 1 car at Suzuka

An F1 car is the fastest thing we run, and it bites. Put a first-timer straight in it and most of the session goes on spinning. So your host builds you up to it, one car at a time.

  1. Formula 4

Start in a light, forgiving single-seater. Your host sets you up and walks you through the wheel, the pedals and where to brake.

  2. Faster single-seaters

Step up through faster formula cars as your laps come together: more power, more downforce, later braking.

  3. Formula 1

Finish in a Formula 1 car on a real Grand Prix circuit, with the feel to drive it fast instead of spinning it.

Raced before? Tell your host and you can start in the F1 car on your first lap.

F1 simulator questions

Where can I drive an F1 simulator near me?
At World of Racing in Phoenix, Tustin (Orange County) and Pasadena (Los Angeles). Every sim runs Formula 1 cars on real Grand Prix circuits. World of Racing Phoenix is at 3227 E Bell Rd Suite D-120, Phoenix, AZ 85032, 20 min from Scottsdale. World of Racing Tustin is at 2475 Park Ave, Tustin, CA 92782, 15 min from Irvine. World of Racing Pasadena is at 2245 E Colorado Blvd #101, Pasadena, CA 91107, 20 min from downtown LA.
Can a beginner drive an F1 car?
Yes, with two hours. We start first-timers in a Formula 4 car and move them up through faster single-seaters to Formula 1 once they have the feel. Jumping straight into the F1 car isn't much fun: it is so fast that most first-timers spend the session spinning.
I've raced before. Can I start in the F1 car?
Yes. If you have sim or track experience, tell your host and they'll load the F1 car from your first lap.
How long should I book?
Two hours for the full ladder up to Formula 1. One hour is plenty to learn the basics in a slower car, but usually not enough to reach the F1 car.
How much does the F1 simulator experience cost?
Two hours is $99 on an eSports sim or $115 on a Pro sim, per driver, plus tax. One hour is $59 or $69.
How realistic is it?
Same kind of simulator F1 teams use to train: force-feedback wheels, full-motion seats and real-world circuits measured turn for turn. You feel the car brake, turn and slide under you.
Can I bring friends?
Yes. Book one session for the group and everyone races on one leaderboard. For birthdays, company events and groups of 5 or more, see our party packages.
Age, height, weight limits?
52" minimum height, no age requirement. Drivers 12 and older typically do great. Weight limit is 300 lb on the Pro Sim and 400 lb on the Esports Sim.
What is F1 Night?
Our Formula 1 race night for drivers with some experience: practice, qualifying and two races on the track of that weekend's Grand Prix, the week after every race.
